Plasline ceilings offer a smooth, modern,
water
repellent surface which cleans easily with a damp cloth looking new
indefinitely. Because uPVC is inert to most chemical attack, it is the ceiling
of choice for difficult conditions and highly corrosive atmospheres such as
swimming pools, seashore environments, and exterior soffits.

install the lightweight and strong Plasline strips which can be trimmed to

Plasline has been successfully living
up to all we claim it to be and more. If
you are looking to replace that old dented linear metal ceiling that may also
need re-painting, or are looking for a far more visually appealing outdoor
canopy option, consider the many virtues of a Plasline ceiling or canopy system.
Plasline
linear strips are made from a patented extrusion of un-plasticized polyvinyl
chloride or uPVC. Plasline is normally supported on
rolled metal carriers which are suspended from the structural ceiling of the
project area.
It is easy to install and requires virtually no maintenance and is
completely recyclable! The color is part
of the extrusion so the need for painting is completely eliminated.
A hurricane? yes! Plasline withstood the ravages of
Hurricane Charlie in
Florida
in the summer of 2004 at a car dealership where it was the only canopy system to
survive intact. The linear metal canopy
was destroyed and was soon completely replaced with the sturdy Plasline. Rulon
has approved wind load testing data which conforms to Miami-Dade
county
wind load
standards. Whether in an environment of
chlorine, chemicals or just adverse weather, Plasline
is the answer ceiling or canopy needs.
The Plasline 800 profile is 4" wide, consisting of rectangular 3-1/4" wide uPVC strips and 3/4" spaces. The spaces can be left open for acoustical performance, or can be filled with 3/4" uPVC spaces. The spaces are available in an assortment of colors to provide designers the choice of a uniform ceiling color or reveals created with different color spaces.
The Plasline 850 profile is similar to the Plasline 800 profile but the uPVC strips have radiused edges. 3/4" Spacers can also be incorporated with Plasline 850. The spaces can also be left open for acoustical performance.
Plasline 900 consists of a 4" module. The Plasline 900 profile includes an integrated 3/4" spacer that creates a clean finished look in one step.

The Plasline system has been tested to 140 mph winds (Category 4 hurricane) and conforms to Miami-Dade building codes.

Once installed, Plasline is maintenance free. Periodically, the ceiling surface can simply be wiped with a damp cloth to keep the ceiling looking new for years to come.
